In recent Rugby World Cup news, it has been announced that USA Rugby will be hosting Canada in Charleston, as a part of the 2015 Rugby World Cup Qualifiers. The team will be travelling to the BMO field and playing a match, and the team with the heavier score aggregate will be claiming a spot in the 2015 showcase, as America’s No. 1.

Back in 2009, during the last Rugby World Cup Qualifiers, the USA team the Eagles were able to defeat the Canadians with a brilliant margin, but then later on, had lost to the Canadians, by a whopping score of 41-18 at a match which was played in Edmonton. Sadly, neither of the teams was able to fulfil the scores that would have earned them a spot directly for the Rugby World Cup which will be held in 2015. As a result, they are both going to take part in the Qualifiers again, and ensure that they get an entry into the next upcoming World Series. And needless to say, both the teams have really left no stone unturned for preparing for the Qualifiers. Many of the top players from both the teams have been able to clinch contracts with overseas programs, by dint of their superb form, so the Qualifiers will surely be exciting.

So now it remains to be seen which North American team comes out on top. It’s all about earning the bragging rights in that part of the USA, and both teams will be really giving their best efforts to win that match. The clash the coming weekend will be epic, to say the least, and fans all over are really in great anticipation as to who will emerge as the victor. And of course, the fact that the winner goes to t5he next Rugby World Cup is just icing on the cake!
